Enjoy the beautiful outdoors at Tallulah Gorge State Park.  The waterfall views are worth the hike up and down over 1000 stairs.  After your hike, be sure to stop at the gift shop to purchase a Friends of Tallulah Gorge t-shirt to commemorate your stair climb -- oh so many stairs -- but worth it!

Adopt-an-Overlook

The Friends of Tallulah Gorge State Park sponsor an Adopt-an-Overlook program at the Park.  Volunteers adopt an Overlook, then visit it regularly to pick up trash, fallen limbs, and generally make sure the Overlook has no problems.  If there are problems, the volunteer contacts Park staff.  Below is a copy of the map with the Overlook Adopters marked.  If you would like to Adopt-an-Overlook, email  foftgsp@gmail.com.  We look forward to having you join us.

Breaking News!!
The Friends of Tallulah Gorge State Park have received a grant from the Friends of Georgia State Parks to be used to replace the projector in the Jane Hurt Yarn Interpretive Center.
